“10 for 2010″ Predictions $$

Let’s see how we do this year. These are meant to be a bit of a reach except the “Bonus” prediction.

1-  Israel, seeing America’s new foreign policy is “your on your own” strikes at Iran (carry over from 2009)

2-  As economic activity picks up, oil passes $100 in spring and does not look back and at one point surpasses $125

3-  Gold plummets back under $825 an ounce and the US dollar rallies 25%

4-  US housing prices fall another 20% (we’ll measure this w/Case Shiller)

5-  Tim Geithner does not finish 2010 at Treasury, Bernanke remains at the Fed

6-  2010=1995 in Congressional elections. Media, not knowing what to make of it calls the elections racist and blames global warming for damaging voters brains. Obama offers to have beer with all those not voting for Democrats…

7-  Evidence reveals that Bin Laden has been dead for several years

8-  Despite recent pronouncements, Bernanke is forced to raise rates 3 times in 2010

9-  Job growth in 2010 is non existent but corporate profits surge due to cost cutting pushing the Dow over 12,000

10- New York Yankees Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez disclosed their “special friendship” ……. not that there is anything wrong with that…….  :)

I always try to make one prediction a little crazy  just to keep things interesting…… Gold under $825…. and dogs will fly!!!…. ;)

Bonus…. The Buffalo Sabres win the Stanley Cup in 7 games  as hometown boy Tim Kennedy scores the series clinching goal
