The Harbor Investment Conference…. Ackman Will Match You

Bill Ackman has agreed to match your admission fee to the conference. If you buy a ticket for $750 (1/2 price), he’ll match that and pay the other $750. If you pay the full price (for a great organzation) he will match your $1500 also……
The last two years the top picks were up over 80% so that $750 is a pittance….
If you are in the NYC area on Feb 2nd, you should attend this. The registration fee is tax deductible, it is a great lineup and most importantly, it is for a great cause.
The mission of Boys & Girls Harbor is to empower children and their families to become full, productive participants in society through education, cultural enrichment and social services.
The Harbor was founded in 1937 by Tony Duke as a small, innovative summer camp for disadvantaged immigrant children. Today, the Harbor is an outstanding organization providing education and character development for over 2,000 children coming from East Harlem, Harlem and the South Bronx each year.
Building on its long tradition of providing pre-school and after-school services, the Harbor was one of the first organizations to open a charter school in New York State, and in 2005 added the Emily N. Carey School to its educational core. The Harbor’s Conservatory for the Performing Arts is internationally recognized, and maintains the Raices Latin Music Museum, designated an official project of Save America’s Treasures by the White House Millennium Council and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Other Harbor initiatives include vibrant multi-site pre- and after-school programs, Upward Bound college readiness, and Oasas/Genesis teen substance abuse prevention.
I presented last year and my idea was AudioVoxx ($VOXX) @$7.02. The highlight of the conference for me was the 90 min. interview/conversation between Ackman and Berkowitz. It was a very unique back and forth where they interviewed each other and then both took audience questions. A similar conversation between Ackman/Roth this year talking about real estate (residential and commercial) would be worth the price of admission alone should it happen. I’ll keep everyone posted should I hear anything.

UPDATE:
Looks like we got our wish for the Ackman/Roth sitdown…..
