Boston

Been getting emails and well wishes from folks. Everyone here is ok and so far no news on any injured friends although a few were far, far too close for comfort when the blast happened. Other than some certain emotional scars from the scene, physically there were unscathed.

I won’t be posting much on this until the dust settles and I have more time to process.

Random thoughts:

Suffice it to say whoever did this is not the “hero”, “martyr” or “patriot” they fashion themselves to be. They are just yet another cowardly asshole who killed and maimed innocent people. It is sadly as simple as that

The NY Post ought to be shut down for the error filled and incendiary “reporting” they did today (said: 12 dead, suspect in custody, Police looking for Saudi National, suspect being treated in boston hospital…ALL wrong). Those in the MSM like to thumb their noses at bloggers but at their worst, they are better than the Post was today

NYC to Boston…..Classy

The bad and the good

Just months after explaining Newtown to my 10yr olds and reassuring them that school was in fact a safe place to be, I get to explain to them why Boston is still a safe place to be.

I am forever impressed by those who, when the bombs go off and bloodied people are running away, run towards the scene not knowing if there are more bombs or something else in store for them……They run INTO the chaos…..They deserved our undying respect and appreciation

I will say that the acts of kindness the people of MA have shown and will continue to show strangers from around the world today have been amazing and only reinforce the reason I chose to and will always continue to choose to make New England my home…

I do not know who said it but today it rings true today for those who live in MA and were in a position to help, and did… “Adversity does not build character……it reveals it” . Hats off to all of you
