Todd Sullivan is a value investor who manages private accounts in Westborough, MA and is a General Partner in Pennant Capital LP.. Todd invests in companies selling below their true value with some type of catalyst that will close their valuation gap. He also selectively invests in special situations (buyouts, chapter 11′s, etc.) such as the General Growth Properties (GGP) Chapter 11 that had return in excess of 2500% to followers. Todd’s investment style can best be described as “Active Value Investing” as he looks for companies selling for far below their true value and then sells when that value is reached, moving onto to the next opportunity. He does rigorous research on all of his investments which has contributed greatly to his consistent success and has a great nose for special situations.
Todd post’s daily content specifically oriented to value investing. He will find investing opportunities for subscribers and will specify whether or not he has taken a position in them. If a position is taken, Todd will update readers in a timely manner when news or information is released that will affect the issue. He will post an analysis of the news and how it effects the original investing thesis.
More importantly, should news be released that places into doubt the original thesis or fundamentally change the companies outlook and trigger a sale, that will also be posted.
Further, since Macro factors influence the results of all companies, Todd will post analysis in this area also.
