Rail Traffic Rebounds As Expected

Week 28 Rail traffic rebounded from the 4th dip to 661k cars for the week. Particular strength was seen in “stone & related products” and “chemicals”. This bodes well for construction as chemical rebounded to the highest levels since mid Q1 2010 and stone rebounded to levels not seen in 2 yrs.

All the major carriers saw gains with $CSX and $BNI seeing the largest % increases while $KSU scratched out a negligible gain
