Todd – Happy New Year.

I went to look at when Sears Holdings is do out with their earnings and was surprised to see that concences is expecting a profit of $1.91 a share.

Am I missing something here all we have been hearing about retail is that it will be even more worse this quarter and that Sears will be by far the worst.

Am I missing something here.

I am comparing it to last quarter where Sears posted a loss.

If they had a loss last quarter it is obvious they will also this quarter.

What is your opinion on the Sears’ CEO position going to Mike Jackson of Autonation.

I strongly feel Lampert is waiting for the merger of the three, including Autozone, to finally announce the new CEO.

Also spoke to an investor he said there might be a possibility of ESL controlling Autonation and Autozone and using it as an investment vehicle for ESL and not Sears.

He pointed out that Sears is not buying the shares but ESL is.

Here is my opinion, the merger announcement is iminent and Jackson will be the CEO.

Sears Holdings will indeed focus on retail and dominate the auto industry.

Sears Holdings will be to the auto industry what Berkshire Hathaway is to insurance.

In other words a homerun, like Berkowitz said.
